Tina Fey & Amy Poehler talk Golden Globes 2014
It’s that time of year again – awards season. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler return to host NBC’s Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 12 celebrating the best in movies and television, as voted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
This interview is really hard to transcribe but is hilarious as always when you put these two together. “Well, I think it’s the sloppiest. That’s part of its charm. I hope people get up and say whatever they want,” says Fey about the awards show. “It’s also one of the first so maybe you don’t have as much awards show fatigue,” adds Poehler.
“Television and film actors together. There is always some kind of street fight,” says Amy. “Always a street fight. Usually started by Ellen Burstyn,” continues Tina. “And finished by her. Let’s be honest,” adds Amy.
They both agree The Entourage Movie is going to win a big deal. Amy says, “They might win before they make it.” Find out which other films were nominated (not!) before they were even made, plus find out the social change for the Golden Globes, the fitness level involved, and so so so much more. These two together in this interview are awesome.
