After 9 seasons The Office will finally close its doors for good on Thursday May 16^th with a one-hour series finale, which coincidentally will be the show’s 200^th episode.

At a recent press conference, Gregg Daniels and the show’s cast hinted at a few more surprises lined up along the way into the series finale. According to The Hollywood Reporter there will be an office firing and the return of Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak

One person to count out of the series finale would have to be Michael Scott (Steve Carell), NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt said at the TV Critics Association: “He left in the way he wanted to leave, and he and Greg talked about it, and I don’t think he will. There’s maybe a little Hail Mary pass on a cameo, but I think the decision would be compromising his schedule.”
